Shin’en 2 – Sinen2 – Abyss 2

Good news for all fans of satellite communications, as well as hunters "cosmic signals." Japanese university students Kagashima developed and built three microsatellite mission which is very ambitious. The satellite is designed to explore and identify asteroids and the most interesting that the orbit of the satellites do not have traditional and gelioelepticheskaya, ie, the satellite will be removed and approach the Earth at a distance of +/- 0.7 AU to 1.3 AU.
Shin'en 2 has a size of 490 × 490 × 475 mm and a weight of 17 kg. It was built by students Kyushu Institute of Technology and has a linear transponder mode J for amateur radio over long distances, lighthouses in CW and WSJT. Power produced by solar panels. Shin'en 2 will revolve around the sun in an elliptical orbit between Venus and Mars will be in the Earth's equatorial plane. Power transponder 800 mW.
Here is the orbit:

Interesting for radio amateurs in terms of communications and satellite experiments is Shin'en 2, carrying the linear transponder working in fashion J 145 to 435 MHz. The mission of this satellite is to:
- Installation of telecommunications at large rasstoniyah commensurate with the distance to the Moon
- Verification and implementation of new technologies in micro satellites
- Offer the use of technology WSJT for uplink and downlink channels
Frequency and data satellite transponder.
